First meeting August 11, 2010 at 11:30 AM
No reservations needed, come and have fun. This is an informal gathering for English speakers to exchange information and ideas about Ecuador and most any other topic that might come up. Enjoy a great lunch. This meeting has been started on the same basis that the Sunday Expat Meeting in Montevideo, Uruguay has been happening for over 4 years on.
Don't be shy, stop by and say hi.
The meeting is open to everyone, expats, retirees, tourists, Ecuadorians; everyone is welcome to stop by too.
The founding principles** of this expat meeting is simplicity:
- Always the same time.
- Always the same place.
- Always someone there rain or shine.

Have something to sell?
The Ibarra Expat meetings are intended to be an informal social gathering and not a forum to promote your products or services. Of course you are welcome to bring business cards and discuss what you do at the meetings. However, it is not a forum where you can stand up to address the group. Do bring a notepad so you can easily exchange contacts!

When you arrive you can just take a seat, or walk around and introduce yourself to everyone. It's not a problem if you arrive early or late (early is better of course!)
